I used the wrong zone number; can I change or cancel the session?

Once a parking session starts, it cannot be modified or canceled.

If you mistakenly enter the wrong zone number, you can ZoneHop. ZoneHop means you can still use the purchased time until expiration if your vehicle is in a ParkChicago zone with the same or lower hourly rate of the original zone number entry.

To check the hourly rate of a zone, enter the 6-digit zone number in the ParkChicago app, then press the information icon to view rates and hours.

Carrying over time applies only to similar parking types (on-street to on-street, parking lot to parking lot, commercial zone to commercial zone).

It's important to always obey all zone signage displaying restrictions, including posted signs from the City of Chicago.
